When the shelter calls back, listen and record the information they give.   Ask them the questions on the form.  Tell them you would like to pull the dog and you are a foster network.  You need some time to find a home.  They may say pulling means getting the dog right away.  Then ask if you can put a hold on the dog.   If not ask if you can adopt the dog.  It’s the paperwork that is important to them.
