Board of Directors

Board of Directors

Four Paws Elkhound Rescue is seeking to reelect members of our Board of Directors.  Positions desired include:  President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Four Paws Elkhound Rescue is looking for Board members who are willing to help take us to the next level.  Our next goal is to have a brick and mortar Norwegian Elkhound dog rescue.  By being an active Board member you will be a part of a fast growing organization that supports and serves the community in a unique way.

By providing education and support to our families, we ensure a more secure future for Norwegian Elkhounds.  Our rescued Norwegian Elkhounds/mixes are part of our rescue.  We will help them in any way we can for the remainder of their lives.

We want dedication, teamwork and loyalty.  We don’t expect that our Board members will have Norwegian Elkhound experience at the start.  We ask for each member to give their time to learn and understand the breed.  We believe in knowing what you are supporting.

We have monthly, quarterly and yearly meetings in person in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.  We have weekly telephone conference calls.  Each Board member needs to be able to attend these meetings in order to stay abreast of what is happening in the rescue and to be able to serve the rescue and the Elkhound community in the best way possible.

To apply, fill out the form below.  We will contact you for an interview.  Contact us with any questions or concerns.  We look forward to working with you and helping us continue “Saving Elkhounds, Four Paws at a Time.”
