UPDATE:   Molly has been brought to Western PA.  She is being fostered by an experienced dog trainer.  She loves to play ball and is a happy girl.  She is ready for a home of her own.

Meet Molly. Molly a smart and fun-loving 4 year old Norwegian Elkhound mix girl who attends obedience classes and knows commands. It's important that she develops trust and respect for her humans, so she has been  invited to come to class with her temporary family for a while to ensure she gets started on the right foot. She is very happy to follow if you take the lead.
She is also what us humans call a foodie. Yup, she LOVES food, but what Elkhound or Elkie mix doesn't? She needs a gentle, but firm leader in her life who will keep what food is yours and hers clear and consistent.  She will need a human that is willing to crate her when she eats, as well as when it's dinner time for them. Her last home wasn't using the crate so when she kept nabbing their food and drinks, they got upset and sent her back.
She can be a good girl with the right family. She just needs to understand the rules and trust that her human will make sure she gets yummy food on a regular basis. She needs to feel confident in her owners to show her the proper boundaries when it comes to learning her way in the family.
Due to food guarding, no children in the home and she prefers to be an only pet.  She is Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative
